Registration is now open for the Grand Gathering sports competitions and soapbox races.

The community is invited to the Grand Family Gathering, on June 27 and 28, 2026, at Mouska Park.

Designed as a large community festival, this weekend will feature a diverse program for all ages: sports competitions, soapbox races (citizens and businesses), family activities, inflatable games, bingo, a historical conference and quiz, dinner under the big tent, a tribute show to Rouyn-Noranda, hot air balloon rides, and award presentations.

Registration for the sports competitions and soapbox races will open on Wednesday, February 11 at 12:00 p.m. Spots are limited. Registration fees are $100 for the citizens category and $250 for the business category.

A free shuttle service, offered by Desjardins in collaboration with Autobus Maheux, will be available throughout the weekend. More details to come.
